We've designed our booking process to be exactly what travelers actually want — a small upfront deposit to lock in your date, clear confirmation by email, transparent pricing on every excursion page, and the balance paid on the day of the tour. No buried fees, no resort markups, no awkward upselling. The whole flow, from picking a tour to standing on the dock, takes most travelers under five minutes.

Start by exploring our full catalog of curated tours. Filter by category — island tours, catamarans, snorkeling and diving, adventure, family-friendly trips, culture and nature. Every excursion page includes photos, what's included, what to bring, duration, group size limits, age restrictions, pickup zones, and the deposit amount. Read carefully — we put all the honest details up front so there's nothing to guess about.
Reserve Your Spot
Click "Reserve Your Spot" on the excursion you've chosen and fill out a short reservation form: your preferred date, the number of adults and children in your group, and your hotel or resort. The form takes about 60 seconds. You'll see your total, the deposit due, and the balance owed on tour day — all calculated automatically based on your group size.
Pay the Deposit
Secure your reservation with a small deposit through PayPal — you can pay with your PayPal balance, or with any major credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). No PayPal account required. The deposit amount is shown clearly on every excursion before checkout .. There are no hidden fees, no booking surcharges, and no upsells in the checkout flow.
Get Your Confirmation
Within minutes of payment, you'll receive a confirmation email with your booking details, the exact hotel pickup time, what to bring, what to wear, and contact info if you have any last-minute questions. We'll also reach out by email the day before your tour to confirm the pickup time and answer anything else. Save the confirmation email — it doubles as your receipt and your reference for any future changes.
Enjoy Your Adventure
On the day of your tour, our team picks you up at your hotel lobby at the confirmed time. Pay the remaining balance to your guide in cash (USD or DOP) before departure. Bring your sense of adventure — we handle equipment, transportation, safety briefings, food and drinks (where included), and the rest of the day. All you need is sunscreen, a towel, and a willingness to enjoy yourself.

The deposit is shown clearly on every excursion page before you pay. Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled excursion. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, since by that point we've already confirmed boats, guides, and pickup logistics on your behalf. Diving courses are an exception — see the next question for details.
Diving courses (PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, specialty courses, and similar multi-day certifications) are non-refundable once booked. This is because course slots are reserved with PADI, training materials are issued in your name, and dedicated instructor time is blocked out specifically for your course. We can usually reschedule a diving course to a different date in your stay or within 12 months if your plans change — just let us know as soon as possible.
The remaining balance is collected on the day of your excursion, before departure. You can pay in cash (USD or Dominican pesos, both accepted). Your guide provides a receipt at the time of payment. We keep the balance off the deposit system to give you flexibility — pay in whichever currency you have on hand and avoid extra processing fees.
If we cancel your excursion due to weather, sea conditions, or any safety concern, you'll receive a full refund of every dollar paid — including the deposit — or you can reschedule to another date during your stay at no charge. Safety always comes first; we'd rather refund the trip than run an unsafe one. We monitor conditions closely and reach out by email the night before if there's any uncertainty.
Yes — date changes are free as long as you give us at least 48 hours of notice and the new date has availability. Send us a message through the contact form with your booking reference and your preferred new date, and we'll confirm the change by email. Changes inside 48 hours are subject to availability and may incur a rebooking fee.
Yes. Most of our excursions accept groups of up to 15-20 guests, and several can accommodate larger private bookings (50+ for catamarans, for example). For groups of 8 or more, send us a message through the contact form before booking — we often have group rates available and can coordinate logistics like multiple pickup hotels or dietary requirements.
No — your confirmation email is enough. Your guide will recognize you at hotel pickup by your name and reservation details. We recommend keeping the email accessible on your phone in case you need to reference the pickup time or your guide's contact info.
We understand the hesitation — it's a fair question. Three things to know: First, our deposits are processed through PayPal, which gives you full buyer protection and an established dispute resolution process. We never store your card details ourselves. Second, our parent company, Grand Bay Dive Center, has years of operating history in Punta Cana with verifiable reviews on Google, TripAdvisor, and dive-specific platforms. Third, your deposit is fully refundable up to 48 hours before your tour, so the worst case is a cancellation and a refund — not lost money.
